Larry R. DeBoever Email Larry
Larry R. DeBoever is recognized as one of the pioneers of Enterprise Architecture having founded DeBoever Architectures (DAI) in 1990, the first consulting firm focused on EA project execution. Mr. DeBoever conceived the concept of Adaptive Architecture and published one of the first EA process methodologies in the early 1990s. DAI was acquired by the META Group in October 1996 where Mr. DeBoever started the Enterprise Architecture Strategies (EAS) practice, the first EA research service. In 1997, he started the Enterprise Architectures Conference (EAC) and chaired the event in its early years. His clients have included General Electric; Toyota; Intel; Shell; NASDAQ; Chrysler; Aetna; JP Morgan; Microsoft; American Express; McDonalds; Disney; Aetna; Nike; CIA; State of California; etc. Mr. DeBoever has founded or served on the Board of numerous firms including Cognos, Linkware, TECHtonics Research, TELON, GHNOnline, and GoldenGate Software. Mr. DeBoever has Masters degrees from Purdue University and the University of Southern California. He has held executive positions with numerous technology firms including the META Group, Hitachi Ltd., and Ernst & Young.

George S. Paras is a widely recognized speaker, writer, coach and thought leader in Enterprise Architecture (EA), Strategy and Planning, Portfolio Management and IT Governance with more than 26 years of information technology and business experience. He has coached hundreds of IT leaders in the practical aspects of creating effective and successful EA programs at organizations as diverse as Canadian Pacific Railway, W.W. Grainger, United Airlines, Dow Chemical, State of Missouri, U.S. Navy, Bank of America, U.K. Federal Government, Allstate, and Sears Canada. His insights and perspectives have advanced the EA discipline through his positions as Chairman, featured speaker and EAC Thought Leadership Council member for the Enterprise Architectures Conferences (EAC) and as Editor-in-Chief of Architecture and Governance Magazine. Mr. Paras has also held positions as Vice President and Service Director of the Enterprise Planning and Architecture Strategies group at META Group, Vice President of Strategy at Troux Technologies, Senior Enterprise Architect at a major airline, and with IBM and several start-up technology companies.

Tim Westbrock is a leading authority on enterprise architecture (EA), enterprise portfolio management, governance, and organizational issues related to enterprise level planning. He has worked with 300+ companies in various industries and the public sector to mentor them in their approach to enterprise architecture, including Procter & Gamble, Province of Ontario, State of Ohio, American Express, Sprint, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida, Eli Lilly, La-Z-Boy, McGraw Hill, and Nationwide Insurance. He has advanced the state of the art of EA processes and was the driving force behind META Group’s EA research agenda and METAmethod – a best-practice transformation method for EA development. As a dynamic speaker, Mr. Westbrock is a frequent lecturer and educator at industry events and workshops. He has over 18 years experience in the IT industry as an analyst, consultant and architect. Before joining META Group, he was the chief architect for Anthem, Inc., responsible for driving its enterprise architecture strategy. He began his career with Andersen Consulting, specializing in methodology, project management, and assisting clients with legacy-to-client/server migrations. He has a B.S. in Applied Science for Systems Analysis from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and lives with his wife and children in Cincinnati.
