Mentor

We provide two types of Mentoring Subscriptions, which differ based on the level of commitment you want from us. Both services are 12 months in length and both provide specific, in-context mentoring, related to your specific challenges.

These challenges might include:

  • ‘Restarting’ an EA effort;
  • Establishing an effective cost-containment plan;
  • Improving IT Governance;
  • Demonstrating the value of IT to executives;
  • Initiating a Business Architecture effort;
  • Building internal support;
  • Establishing a PMO;
  • Establishing formal EA processes;
  • Launching an effective Innovation strategy;
  • Developing an effective communications plan;
  • Integrating EA or PMO with overall IT governance;
  • A need for expert review of deliverables and other artifacts;
  • Identifying critical success factors;
  • Integrating SOA;
  • Updating a technology strategy;
  • Communicating ‘future state’ and its implications to line managers;
  • Overcoming cultural barriers including NIH and vendor-specific dogmas; etc

Teaming Relationship

The Teaming Relationship is a 12-month subscription agreement that provides intense, ongoing, proactive support of our Clients and features:

  • Dedicated Mentor – committed to building a deep, personal relationship
  • Weekly Teleconference – Dedicated Mentor discusses and prescribes actions for improvement with Chief Architect, EA Team or other relevant audiences
  • 4 Full-Day  On-Site Meetings (travel expenses paid by client)
  • Document Review – Your Dedicated Mentor will review and comment on your team’s deliverables and artifacts
  • Ad hoc Telephone Inquiry – you have direct access to your Dedicated Mentor

Coaching Relationship

The Coaching Relationship is a 12-month subscription agreement that provides on-going support to our Client at very low-cost and is targeted at Clients responsible for a relatively mature activity. Typically, these Clients want a trusted advisor who can help them fine tune their operations and act as a sounding board. The Coaching Relationship features:

  • Dedicated Mentor – committed to building a deep, personal relationship
  • Weekly Teleconference – Dedicated Mentor discusses and prescribes actions for improvement with Chief Architect, EA Team or other relevant audiences
  • 1 Full-Day On-Site Meeting (travel expenses paid by client)
  • Defined Ad hoc Telephone Inquiry and Document Review – direct access to your Dedicated Mentor for up to 2 additional hours per month
